Where Sundog Works
We serve 31 towns and cities across the four-county Capital Region core, out of our office in Troy.
Sundog covers Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady and Saratoga counties from our Troy office. Closest areas including Watervliet, North Greenbush and East Greenbush are within fifteen minutes, and the outer edge of our range reaches Hoosick Falls and Wilton at about forty minutes.
We are a Troy-based company, and our coverage reflects that. The towns closest to us get faster estimate scheduling and we can practically handle small jobs there. The outer areas we batch, which means we prefer to schedule several projects in a region together rather than making repeated single trips. That does not change pricing, it changes how quickly we can get to you.
Every service area page below covers what the housing stock in that town actually needs, because a Troy rowhouse, a Clifton Park colonial and a converted lake camp in Averill Park present completely different window problems.

Frequently asked questions
Do you charge more for towns further from Troy?
No. Pricing is the same across our service area. What changes with distance is scheduling. Closer areas like Watervliet, North Greenbush and East Greenbush can be scheduled quickly and support small jobs. Outer areas like Hoosick Falls and Wilton we prefer to batch with other work in that region.
What if my town is not listed?
Call anyway. The listed pages are the towns we work in most often, not a boundary. If you are within reasonable reach of the four-county core we will almost certainly come out, and if you are genuinely too far we will tell you rather than quoting a job we cannot service properly.
Will you come out for one window?
In our closest service areas, yes, easily. Watervliet, Troy, North Greenbush, East Greenbush and Rensselaer are all within fifteen minutes and a single fogged glass unit or a batch of screens is a reasonable call. In outer areas we may ask to schedule it alongside other work in that region.
Do you serve commercial clients across the whole area?
Yes. Commercial window and door work, storefront glass and entrance hardware are available throughout the four counties. Commercial projects always start with a site walk because the access and scheduling variables are too large for a phone quote.
Can you coordinate with my neighbors?
Yes, and it genuinely saves money. Adjacent houses in the same subdivision often have identical window sizes, which simplifies ordering, and doing them back to back cuts mobilization cost. Mention it when you call if others on your street are considering the same work.
